EthrA

fishing, cooking, farming

EthrA lists fishing, cooking, farming, and working on your home as quieter activities besides the main story. Natural resources can be gathered for crafting, upgrades, and tools. The first Steam playtest still leaves farming and base building out, so this page is a split file: what the store promises, what official video actually shows, and what you should not expect in the live prototype. The interior hall still, the fishing still, and the gathering still are the documentary images. The fishing gameplay video is the motion proof for that minigame. The interior hall still with health, stamina, and magic bars is a place you can walk, not a house-building tool in the first prototype.

Quieter activities named in official copy

FishingMinigameStoneLab published Fishing Gameplay as its own YouTube video, which is stronger than a store sentence and is why this is the only row with motion proof. The 28 July 2026 signup post did not name fishing in the in/out list. Treat the video as proof the minigame exists in development, not as a changelog for app 4986460.
CookingMinigameListed beside fishing and home as a quieter moment with the world. No official cooking video sits in that YouTube set. There is no recipe book in the published stills.
FarmingMinigameStore-listed and playtest-excluded. The 28 July 2026 signup post left farming out of the first prototype. If you Request Access expecting to plant a field, you will not find that system in this drop.
Home / base workMinigameBase building is not in the first playtest. The timber hall still shows counters, tapestries, and health, stamina, and magic bars: a place you can walk, not a house-building tool. It does not show a build hammer, a plot grid, or a chest of seeds.
GatheringExplorationThe world is filled with natural resources you can collect as you explore, used for crafting, upgrading equipment, and creating useful tools. There is no official node map and no rarity table. Pair that with Bob's weapon sets if you are gathering to support a loadout, not to fill a farm silo the prototype does not have.
  • The minigame paragraph is four activities: fishing, cooking, farming, and working on your home. StoneLab wants those to be quieter moments with the world, letting you slow down at your own pace. Those sentences are not a crop list, a recipe book, or a fish dex.
  • Keep EthrA Playtest Sign-Up open beside this route. The checklist there and the table here should agree: farming and base work wait. Combat and exploration fundamentals stayed in. You may still walk villages, halls, and resource nodes that belong to the exploration side.
  • Fishing's official video means the minigame is real content StoneLab already showed, even if a given playtest build does not yet let you sit on a dock. Do not treat the video as a promise that the 4986460 prototype contains it. Watch Fishing Gameplay | EthrA for the motion pass already on YouTube.
  • The village still on the hub: fences, flowers, cultivated ground: is the quieter-life picture. It is not proof that farming is playable today. The first Steam drop ships coordinated combat plus exploration, not the farm plot.
  • If you Request Access hoping to decorate a house, wait for a later playtest post. If you Request Access hoping to walk a hall after a fight, the exploration fundamentals in the prototype are the relevant stamp. The publisher fishing and gathering stills sit on this route as quieter-life evidence, not as a live tool list for app 4986460.
  • If you want the fight half of the same game, leave this file and open dual-character combat and weapon sets. Cooking has no official video in that YouTube set. Home work has the interior hall still and the excluded base-building line.
  • Gathering sits in the same official breath as crafting and upgrades. It is something you do while you walk, which is why this route also carries the publisher gathering still. Pick up what the world puts in reach, because the store says those materials feed tools and gear. Village lanes and halls can still appear as exploration spaces even while the farm plot and house-build tools stay out of this drop.
  • The 28 July 2026 signup post excluded survival aspects, farming, base building, and multiplayer/co-op from the first prototype. Official copy wants both halves of EthrA: dangerous coordinated combat and slower work. Documenting fishing, cooking, farming, and home work here keeps those store sentences honest without turning them into prototype features.
  • The table is five named activities with a playtest note, not a 40-row database. Fishing has motion proof. Cooking is listed beside fishing and home. Farming and home/base work are store-listed and playtest-excluded. Gathering is the walk-and-pick loop that feeds tools and gear. Survival aspects wait with farming even if a later playtest restamps them.
  • StoneLab wants the quieter activities to let you slow down at your own pace beside the main story. That pace is not in the first Steam drop. You can still walk a timber hall after a fight because exploration fundamentals are in. You cannot raise a house or plant a field in this prototype. Pair the hall still with the playtest checklist before you Request Access hoping for a farm.
