EthrA

EthrA Kickstarter

The EthrA Kickstarter is StoneLab Games' all-or-nothing campaign for the game, running through 10 October 2026. The printed goal is about €40,000 / $45,566. StoneLab posts and a TechTimes launch article already described the campaign as over that goal and chasing stretch goals. In-game, Veil even asks you to follow the campaign. Deadline, goal, the two-person studio context, and the official launch trailer are the stable facts. The public reward table lives on Kickstarter itself, which is the page you should open before pledging. Veil's in-engine line to follow the campaign is why a dedicated funding route exists beside the Steam playtest button. The Kickstarter launch trailer on this route is the official motion ask dated to the live campaign, not a second store trailer.

10 October 2026, already over the printed goal

The live campaign URL is ethra-by-stonelabstudio. First-party posts and TechTimes' 8 September 2026 article agree on the deadline: 10 October 2026. The printed goal is roughly €40,000. StoneLab's X account described stretch goals after the goal cleared. Totals can still move until the campaign closes, so treat the deadline and the already-cleared goal as the stable facts and read today's total on Kickstarter itself.

TechTimes also described a two-person team that built the pixel-art open world without sprite sheets. That matches other official notes and the TechTimes piece that StoneLab is two people. It is studio context for why a Kickstarter exists beside a Steam playtest, not a claim about a specific stretch-goal item. Open the campaign itself for the current pledge list. Read today's pledged total on the campaign page; this file keeps the deadline and the already-cleared €40,000 goal as the stable facts.

Veil asks you to follow the campaign

The store screenshot on this page is the unusual one: Veil's dialogue tells you to follow the Kickstarter while Bob stands in front of a mountain cabin. That is in-engine advertising, not a side quest with a reward table. It is also why a dedicated funding route exists instead of a footer-only link. The characters you play are the ones asking.

Publisher stills and the official Kickstarter launch trailer repeat the ask in motion. Watch the trailer on this page, then follow the live campaign if you intend to pledge. Patreon at patreon.com/stonelab is a separate ongoing support channel; older about-copy there still mentions a North Kingdom pitch and should not be mixed into EthrA stretch goals. Youtooz merch is a third channel and lives on the release timeline, not on this pledge page. The cabin still is in-engine advertising from Veil, not a side quest with a printed gold reward.

Kickstarter sits beside the Steam playtest, not instead of it

Funding the campaign does not replace Request Access. The playable prototype is still the EthrA Playtest Sign-Up on Steam app 4986460. The Kickstarter is the all-or-nothing pass that runs through 10 October 2026 while that prototype is already listed. A backer who wants to fight with Bob and Veil this month still needs the Steam button and, for keys, the Discord.

StoneLab's site, X, YouTube, and the TechTimes piece are the public trail. Remaining stretch-goal amounts and the reward grid belong on the live Kickstarter page, which is the only place those numbers are authoritative. If you need Windows specs and the language list for the full game, use the Steam release notes. If you need combat scope, stay on the playtest file. A backer who wants to fight with Bob and Veil this month still needs Steam Request Access and, for keys, Discord. Stretch goals can still be added before 10 October 2026; read them on the campaign.

A two-person studio, Unity, and no sprite sheets

TechTimes' launch article is the public long-form on how two developers built a pixel-art open world without sprite sheets. 80 Level's earlier roundup described Unity as the engine; the playtest app payload does not itself name the engine. Both notes belong here as studio facts, not as a tech-spec table. Controller support and the Windows-only store flags still sit on the release page.

The campaign identity is EthrA by StoneLab Studio on Kickstarter's URL slug, while Steam and the website say StoneLab Games. Those are the same people in public materials. If you are verifying a pledge, use the Kickstarter URL above rather than a lookalike. Stretch goals can still be added before 10 October 2026; read them on the campaign, then come back here for the playtest and combat files. Verify the campaign at the Kickstarter URL rather than a lookalike before pledging. Controller support and the Windows-only flags still sit on the release page rather than on the pledge file.

Stretch goals after the €40,000 line

StoneLab's X account described stretch goals after the printed goal cleared. Totals can still move until 10 October 2026. The TechTimes launch article and the official Kickstarter trailer are the public long-form and motion versions of the same ask. Reward tiers belong on the live campaign HTML, which this file does not duplicate.

Patreon remains a separate ongoing channel. The Youtooz Veil plush is merch on the release timeline. Neither replaces a Kickstarter pledge or a Steam Request Access click. Use the campaign URL for money, Discord for keys, and the playtest app for the fight-and-walk slice.
